A 6.5 Mile (approx.) ‘Fell’ v ‘Trail’ Race on Ilkley Moor
A 10k multi-terrain race through the stunning Yorkshire countryside. Starting & finishing at Stainland Recreation Ground, the race runs through woodland and along beautiful rural roads and trails in the Stainland valley.

A 6.7 mile multi terrain course starting and finishing within the Abbey grounds. A mixture of road, canal and trail.
A bottle of beer & goodie bag to all finishers.
Junior races/fun run.
Race filled up last year, so best to pre-enter.
The event will follow the usual format of 4 legs run in succession.
Leg 1 will be a solo leg of approx 7K with 450m of ascent (winning time 30 minutes approx).
Leg 2 is a pairs leg of 15k with 630m of climb (winning time 75 minutes).
Leg 3 is a pairs navigation leg that we believe will give competitors a choice of routes depending on their perceived running strengths (estimate of winning time: 70 minutes).
The solo final leg is 8K with 400m of ascent (winning time 35 mins approx).
The 6.66km course is entirely off road and very very dark indeed!!! Don’t worry though, our monstrous marshals are on hand to guide you around the haunted hallowe’en forest!

On trails and paths in the picturesque surroundings of Harewood Estate and Eccup Reservoir. All proceeds shared between Lineham Farm Children’s Centre and Yorkshire Air Ambulance. Mementoes to all finishers. Trophies and/or vouchers to category winners.
