P&B members will be volunteering at Bramley parkrun. If you’re not volunteering then turn up and run. Club colours to be worn!
More info here http://www.parkrun.org.uk/bramley/
The event will follow the usual format of 4 legs run in succession.
Leg 1 will be a solo leg of approx 7K with 450m of ascent (winning time 30 minutes approx).
Leg 2 is a pairs leg of 15k with 630m of climb (winning time 75 minutes).
Leg 3 is a pairs navigation leg that we believe will give competitors a choice of routes depending on their perceived running strengths (estimate of winning time: 70 minutes).
The solo final leg is 8K with 400m of ascent (winning time 35 mins approx).
Boring course and a bit of a rip off, but great if you fancy chasing a PB
Bunny Run Relays are also CS. 7.30pm start. £7.50 per team of three. Each leg 1.5m/200′. Relay batons are eggs! Almost any conceivable team composition welcome including mixed, family, junior etc. Over 10.
The course is just less than 6 miles (approx. 9.75K) and climbs gradually to the same high point as previous years (290 m in total).
Trail or fell shoes will be needed in wet conditions but in dry conditions runners could use road shoes.
