P&B athlete Andy Smith competed at the recent BUCS (British University and Colleges Sports Assoc) Outdoor Championships for his University team of York St John.
He is the first P&B athlete to go sub 1:50 at the 800m event, winning bronze in the BUCS with a time of 1.49.40 seconds, the Club record having previously been held for 15 years by Danny Hermann.
